Kayseri Erkilet handles domestic and international flights from one terminal, with separate domestic and international arrival areas. It is busier and better served than Nevşehir.
Where it is
Kayseri is roughly 80 km from Göreme — about an hour and a quarter by road. It is the farther of the two Cappadocia airports.
Balloons leave at dawn
Balloon flights leave at dawn. If you are arriving the night before, a pre-booked transfer is the difference between making one and missing it.
Your flight home
