Sabiha Gökçen operates from a single passenger terminal. International and domestic flights share one building with separate arrivals and departures levels; baggage reclaim and the meeting area are on the arrivals level.

Where it is

SAW is on the Asian side at Pendik. Sultanahmet and Taksim are across the Bosphorus — budget 60–90 minutes, and considerably more in rush hour.

SAW or Istanbul (IST)?

Do not confuse SAW with Istanbul Airport (IST) on the European side. They are roughly 70 km apart and a transfer between them is a long, expensive drive.

Your flight home

For the return leg we plan the pickup so you are at the terminal at least two hours before a short-haul flight and three hours before a long-haul departure.
