How Hotel Pickup for a Departure Transfer Works

Where the vehicle waits

At the main entrance, wherever the hotel driveway allows stopping. On large resorts with several buildings that means the main reception, not your block — so allow for the walk from your room, which in a sprawling complex can take five minutes. If the driveway is closed to larger vehicles, we agree the meeting point beforehand.

When the time is confirmed

You give your departure time when booking, we work backwards and tell you the pickup time. How that calculation works and what shifts it is in when should you leave your hotel for the airport. The confirmed time is the one that stands — if in doubt, check it against your confirmation the day before.

The fifteen minutes

Fifteen minutes of waiting from the agreed time is included. That sounds tight, and there is a concrete reason for it: on an arrival we can see where you are through the flight number and adjust. On a departure from a hotel we can see nothing — there is no flight whose delay could be observed. The driver knows only what was agreed.

The evening before

Two things are worth doing, especially for an early pickup: tell reception, so the night staff know and the door is open, and have the bags packed and standing ready. Anyone being collected at 03:30 does not want to be closing a suitcase at 03:20.

If an extra item has appeared between the two legs — which happens more often than people expect — now is the moment to say so. The rules are in how much luggage is included.

If something changes

If the airline moves your departure, the pickup time moves with it — but only if we hear about it. A short message with the new departure is enough and you get a new time confirmed back. The full picture is in your flight changed after booking.

The same applies to the address if you changed accommodation during the holiday: the outbound pickup address does not carry over to the return leg automatically.
