What Happens After You Book a Private Airport Transfer

Straight after you submit

You receive a confirmation with your booking details: route, date, time, passenger count, vehicle class, extras and the fixed price. Read it through once — especially the date and the passenger count, the two entries where mistakes most easily creep in. Nothing is charged: payment happens on the day, to the driver.

In the days before

We assign your booking to a vehicle and a driver and check your flight number against the actual schedule. If something does not line up — a different arrival day, a number that matches no flight — we come back to you. That is why the flight number needs to be right: it is the one entry we can check against an outside source.

Shortly before you travel

You get your driver's phone number. Save it to your phone rather than leaving it in the email — in a crowded arrivals hall at two in the morning that is the difference between twenty seconds and five minutes. He has the number you gave when booking.

On the day

We track your flight by its number and dispatch against the actual landing. You do not need to tell us you have departed, nor that you have landed. What happens next is in how to find your driver in the arrivals hall.

When you should get in touch

The list is short, and everything on it takes one message:

• Your flight number or arrival time changes — see your flight changed after booking.
• Your hotel is now confirmed, or has changed.
• The passenger count changes.
• A child seat or oversized item is being added.
• You are cancelling — free up to 24 hours before the agreed pickup time.

Payment

On the day, to the driver, in cash — or by card if arranged in advance. The amount is the one on your confirmation, extras included, with no supplements for night, traffic or waiting time. What the price covers is set out in full in the price list.
